Awarded with a Blue Flag, Mackenzie Beach is a 1 km long sandy beach with no rocks, reefs, jelly fish or sharks! In the mornings the waters in Mackenzie Beach are usually calm and you can walk in the sea for almost 50 meters and still only be waist deep in water.
The spot is the ideal for both beginners & advanced windsurfers. Mornings, with no wind and flat water are perfect for Stand Up Paddle boarding. Later on the light breeze is great for beginner windsurf lessons and after lunch the advanced windsurfers can take advantage of the strong winds and gain some serious speed.
